Effective Date: April 2026
This policy outlines the procedures and responsibilities of both AEITCH and the Client should either party choose to terminate a service agreement before project completion.
1. Client-Initiated Cancellation
Clients have the right to cancel their project or subscription at any time.
- Notice Period: A minimum of 7 business days written notice is required. This notice must be sent via email to your assigned Project Manager or to our official billing email.
- Financial Obligation: Upon cancellation, the client is legally obligated to pay for all hours worked and milestones completed up to the date the cancellation notice becomes effective.
- Work Product: Any work-in-progress materials for which the client has paid will be handed over in their current state upon final settlement of the account.
2. AEITCH-Initiated Cancellation
AEITCH reserves the right to cancel a project or suspend services under the following circumstances:
- Abandonment: If the client fails to communicate or provide necessary project access for more than 14 consecutive days.
- Non-Payment: If any invoice remains unpaid for 10 business days past its due date.
- Scope Creep: If the client demands work significantly outside the original SOW without agreeing to a Change Order or additional compensation.
3. Termination for Cause
In the event of a breach of contract or unethical conduct, AEITCH may terminate the relationship immediately. In such cases, all licenses to AEITCH-developed software or tools may be revoked until all outstanding balances are cleared.
